This page describes how the website https://codearchitects.com handles the personal data of the people who visit it. This notice is given under Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”). It covers this website only, not the external websites reached through its links (for example social networks), which have their own notices.
Other notices (in Italian): customers and suppliers · CCTV · job applicants.
Data controller and Data Protection Officer
The data controller is Code Architects S.r.l., Via Campania 1/3, 70029 Santeramo in Colle (BA), Italy, VAT and tax code 05831090724, email privacy@codearchitects.com, certified email codearchitects@legalmail.it.
Data Protection Officer (DPO): Avv. Isabella Lucati, isabella.lucati@studiolegaleml.it.
Where the data is processed
The website is hosted on Microsoft Azure (Azure Static Web Apps), and the messages sent with the forms are delivered by email through Azure Communication Services. Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd processes the data on behalf of the controller as a processor under Article 28 GDPR. The resources are created in the European Union (West Europe region; the email service stores its data in Europe), while the public pages of the website may be distributed through Microsoft’s global network. For any transfer outside the European Union, Microsoft is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and applies the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
Only authorised staff handle the data, and it is never published. It may be disclosed to judicial or police authorities where the law requires it.
What data is processed
Browsing data
While serving the website, its systems receive some data that every Internet connection carries: IP address, the addresses of the requested resources, time and method of the request, response code, browser and operating system. This data is not collected to identify visitors. Microsoft Azure handles it only to serve the website, protect it from abuse and check that it works, and keeps it for the period set by the service configuration, unless it is needed to investigate computer crimes against the website. Legal basis: the controller’s legitimate interest in the security and operation of the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Data sent with the contact form and the job application form
- Data collected: name, email, phone (optional) and message; for job applications also the chosen profile and the CV as a PDF.
- Purpose: answering your request, or assessing your application.
- Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and the controller’s legitimate interest in answering the requests it receives (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR); for job applications also Article 111-bis of the Italian Privacy Code. Your consent is not required: the checkbox of the forms only confirms that you have read this notice.
- Retention: the website does not store the messages. Each one is forwarded by email to the company mailbox info@codearchitects.com, where it is kept for as long as needed to handle the request or the selection; the email service only holds it for the time it needs to deliver it.
Emails sent directly
If you write to the addresses shown on the website, we receive your email address and whatever else you put in the message, and use them to answer you.
Cookies
This website does not use cookies or any other storage on your device (such as local storage), and it uses no third-party profiling or analytics tools. That is why no cookie banner is shown. External links (for example Google Maps, LinkedIn and Facebook) lead to third-party websites with their own notices.
The Contacts page can show a Google Maps map, provided by Google Ireland Limited. The map loads only if you ask for it by pressing “Show the map”: until then the website does not contact Google. When you show it, your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address and the technical data of the request and may set their own cookies, under Google’s own privacy policy. If you prefer not to load it, you can use the “Open in Google Maps” link or the address written on the page.
Whether you must provide your data
Apart from browsing data, providing personal data is optional. Without the data the forms ask for, however, we cannot answer your request or assess your application.
How the data is handled
Personal data is handled with automated tools only for as long as its purpose requires. Specific security measures protect it from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. You can ask for the current list of processors at the addresses above.
Your rights
You can exercise at any time the rights of Articles 15 and following of the GDPR: access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and, where the law provides it, portability. Write to privacy@codearchitects.com, no formalities required. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
This notice may be updated, for example when the website or the law changes; the date of the last update is shown at the top.
